About us

The IS-LOM s.r.o. Maglovec Company is a young and dynamic company. We operate the Maglovec quarry that produces diorite porphyrite and the Brehov quarry where pyroxenic andesite is extracted.  The company was established in 1995 and today it ranks among the largest producers of crushed aggregates in the region.

We continue the quarrying and work traditions of proceeding quarry operators and make use of the extensive experience of our professional workers – the history of quarrying in Vyšná Šebastová dates back to the nineteen-thirties.

We supply our customers, small and large building companies in Eastern Slovakia, with crushed aggregates and stonecutting products of the highest quality.

Profile of the Company

IS-LOM s.r.o., Maglovec ranks among the largest suppliers of crushed aggregates in the area of Eastern Slovakia. We put emphasis on the quality of our products and flexibility of the services we provide so that we are able to satisfy the various needs of our clients. We supply quality crushed aggregates not only to large building companies, but also to medium and small developers and builders for individual building projects. Our objectives include winning of foreign markets and establishing ourselves there.

Since 1998 we have been operating the extraction area of Vyšná Šebastová. We are able to process the stone extracted from quality rock into crushed aggregates of the highest quality. Diorite meets the strictest criteria applicable to its use within the construction industry.

In the years 2006 – 2007 a comprehensive reconstruction of the production line excluding water spraying system when processing the aggregates was carried out. The reasons for this reconstruction included an enlargement of assortment, improvement of the working environment and enhancement of protection of the environment and the surrounding countryside.

The material produced is brownish up to dark grey diorite porphyrite that is processed into:
1. natural  aggregates with fractions varying from 0-2 up to 0-300,
2. stonecutting products,
3. quarried stones.

The material produced is dark brown up to black pyroxenic andesite that is processed into:  
1. natural  aggregates with fractions varying from 0-4 up to 63-125,
2. quarried stones.
